We were watching Indiana Jones
and the Last Crusade a few days ago. The opening scene showed young Indie, played
by River Phoenix, riding around in some spectacular scenery!
We both said,
“That’s Arches!” Although they took some liberties with filming when he went into the cave to recover The Cross of Coronado.
Arches National Park is one of
the most recognizable national parks in the system! Delicate Arch, Balanced
Rock, Double Arch: once you’ve seen these amazing formations it’s hard to
forget them. It’s also one of those places where I could visit over and over
again. I never get tired of the beauty! It’s also hard to pick which of the
tons of photos to put on your blog, so here’s a bunch of them!
